AUTOQUIP ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF JAMES JOHNSTON TO MANAGER OF ENGINEERING

Autoquip Corporation promotes James Johnston to Manager of Engineering. James brings 18 years of engineering experience to the position along with strong academic and professional credentials. James has been with Autoquip for 6 years and has served in a leadership position as a Senior Project Manager. James replaces Mike Adel who left the company in early June to pursue other interest.
James professional career has included designing for large off-road machinery companies and he has also cross-trained in the areas of purchasing and accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
As a Manager of Engineering, James will oversee the engineering department setting goals and objectives that support the company vision. "My vision as the manager of the group is to encourage continued learning and to push technology boundaries to ensure Autoquip is the leader of innovation in our industry," said James Johnston. James also believes the importance of having an understanding of all facets of the business and believes cross-training is an important learning tool for growth and success. "James possesses a great combination of professional experience and education. We are confident that he will provide strong leadership and bring a fundamentally sound approach to engineering," commented Joe Robillard, President of Autoquip Corporation.
