Double Leaf Transfer Bridges

Autoquip Double Leaf Bascule Bridges are hydraulically operated and can be raised to full vertical position when not in use, eliminating the possibility of interference with rail or other traffic. Double Leaf Hydraulic Bascule Bridges allow for longer spans crossing two or more rail tracks, or to accommodate low overhead clearance, and double wide, permitting two-way traffic across the leaves. Double Leaf Bascule Bridges are available with crossover capacities to 60,000 pounds and can traverse spans of 40'. Double Wide bridges can have leaves to 16' wide. Heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders assure safe and reliable bridge operation. Individual self-contained power units with weatherproof cover, usually mounted on a shelf under the bridges, and easy-to-use wall-mount pushbutton controls are provided for each leaf as standard.
